I heard from a professional baker when you let dough with toffee in it chill in the fridge over 2 hours the cookies spread immensely because the toffee dissolves into the dough did you find any issue with spreading with these?
Oh interesting! I’ve only made cookies with this specific toffee recipe, so i can’t speak for any toffee, but i’ve never had that problem, personally. They do spread into kind of funky shapes while baking but i just manipulate them a little bit back into circles easy peasy :)
